About Us
Project 93 is a registered charity dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of the LGBTQ+ community and individuals affected by HIV in Staffordshire.
Every year, we provide support to hundreds of individuals across Staffordshire through a range of services, including free counselling, support and social groups, one-to-one support, and advocacy.

OUR HISTORY
Project 93 was founded on World AIDS Day in 1993, inspired by the theme “A Time to Act.”
Originally called Staffordshire Buddies, we began as a vital HIV support service for the people of Staffordshire.
For over 30 years, we have provided free support to the Staffordshire community, with a special focus on the LGBTQ+ community and those affected by HIV.
OUR IMPACT
We measure our success by the positive impact we have on the lives of those we serve. We’re proud of the progress we’ve made in creating a more inclusive and supportive Staffordshire.
Individuals are finding the support they need to navigate challenges, build resilience, and improve their mental well-being. Schools and organisations are becoming more inclusive, creating safer and more welcoming spaces for LGBTQ+ people.
