Transgender Support

Project 93 recognises the diverse needs of the trans community and is committed to providing inclusive and affirming support. We understand that navigating gender identity can be challenging, and we’re here to help you every step of the way.

Further Support Available at Project 93

Alongside Trans Talks, Project 93 offers additional support:

  • LGBTQ+ Affirming Counselling:
    • We provide free, confidential counselling with experienced counsellors who are LGBTQ+-affirming.
    • Counselling offers a safe and non-judgemental space to explore your feelings, concerns, or identity, develop coping strategies, and enhance your overall mental well-being.

What is Trans Talks?

Our primary peer support offering for the trans and non-binary community is Trans Talks. This group provides a welcoming and affirmative space for individuals to come together.

  • What is Trans Talks?
    • It is a peer support and information group led by and for trans and non-binary people.
    • It offers a confidential and respectful setting where you can connect with others who have similar lived experiences, share your own journey, and offer mutual support.
    • The group explores various topics relevant to the trans and non-binary experience, which can include discussions around legal processes (like name changes), accessing healthcare, well-being strategies, and much more.
  • Who is it for?
    • Trans Talks is for anyone who identifies as transgender, non-binary, or is exploring their gender identity.
  • When and Where?

Trans Social

We also run our Trans Social group once a month – a welcoming space for trans and gender-diverse people to meet, connect, and build community in a relaxed, supportive environment. Unlike our discussion-focused Trans Talks, Trans Social is a relaxed, informal meetup for trans and gender-diverse folks to hang out, enjoy games, crafts, and just have fun together.

How do I access Trans Support?

If you’re interested,  please contact us by phone, email, or through our website. We’ll be happy to answer your questions and guide you through the process.
